This is the wet season

We are hanging on here, enduring the heat and humidity, while watching an approaching cyclone.

    1. I love the way they seem to be just about to fall at any moment!

  2. Hope the cyclone's a fizzer and does no damage - just crosses the coast, moves inland and brings some nice gentle rain to those that badly need it.

    1. Roz,
It looks as though it might do just that, although they are so unpredictable.

  3. I love this photo, what a face. I hope the cyclone fades away with no severe weather. It's so good to see a warm frog and green leaves; we're extremely cold here.

    1. So far it looks as though it is heading further south, but it is bringing rain which is a good thing for those further inland.

  5. I don't care too much for frogs, but that is one cool looking frog. Did you take the photo? Very nice capture.
Hope the cyclone doesn't cause too much damage, and that it moves on to other areas.

    1. Virginia,
Yes I did - in my front yard - we have lots of these frogs - they love the wet weather. It is still a tropical low but is bringing lots of rain.

  6. I'm sure that I am strange but I love frogs. Something about their cute little "hands" and their cute little back lets. Weird I know but that picture made my heart sing.

  7. Your frog looks soooo much happier than the one I posted today. It's always a tense time when we watch for hurricanes too. I hope all goes well with you, always!

    1. Lesa,
These ones always look as though they are smiling. Dylan the Cyclone has headed down south and caused quite a bit of flooding - hope it continues on inland a bit where there has been some major drought.
